Signs Of Divorce – The Six Symptoms
Is a marriage breakup in your future? You’ll want to do something about it now rather than hoping that the problem will go away on its own.
Avoiding or ignoring your problems will not solve them. They’ll eventually blow up and you’ll be forced to deal with them.
While procrastination is very tempting, working on the problem now will be worth it in the long run. Love is blind so there’s a good chance that you’ll miss the tell tale signs of a troubled marriage. What you don’t know can hurt you because those signs of trouble can escalate into big problems.
What are these symptoms of a marriage in crisis? Six of these in no special order are:
1.) The joy has gone from your relationship. Whenever you out together, you just feel even more stress.
2.) There isn’t any intimacy or sex in your marriage. Don’t take this symptom lightly because it could mean the possibility of an extra marital affair.
3.) It’s a great relief when your spouse is absent. You find that your own company relaxes you more and is much preferred to the company of your spouse.
4.) You never say anything nice about the other. Instead, criticizing has become a habitual component of the relationship. You always feel as if nothing you do is right. This causes you to pull away and stop doing anything.
5.) There are a lot differences that never fail to cause stress.
For example, neatness can be a source of stress for many couples. When each person blames the other for the problem, the difficulty lingers and generates more resentment. So you may feel that your spouse is an inconsiderate slob, while she or he thinks of you as a nagging neatness freak.
Money management can also lead to chronic stress. Saving money for the future may be your concern while your partner loves the excitement of buying new cars and other toys.
6.) You avoid discussions about the future and can only deal with immediate issues.
If these signs apply to you, it’s important not to allow denial to take hold. Act on it now. You owe it to yourself, your partner, and your children.
